Check it is actually reading. Connected means the link is up. It does not mean the reader is running.
The box's row shows which. If it is not collecting, start it — Start in Podium PC with the row selected, START in Podium Mobile.
It says it is reading and still nothing arrives
- Is anything crossing it? Walk a transponder over the mat and watch the reads screen.
- Is the antenna connected? A reader with nothing plugged in reads nothing and reports no fault.
- Is it the right kind of transponder for that box? A box set up for one will not read the other.
Reads are arriving but not appearing in the results
The point is not named, or it is named differently from the finish you told Podium to score. The name has to match exactly. Read Nothing is scoring at all.
It stopped rather than never started
Read The reads stopped part way through.
A reader will stop itself
A box left reading stops on its own after two and a half minutes. That is deliberate and it is not a fault: a UHF reader transmits the whole time it is on. If you need it running for a race, it has to be started for the race.
