One of the many strengths of the ULTRA system is the ease in which it is set up prior to an event and taken down afterwards.
As the smallest sized unit on the market, packaged in a robust Pelican case measuring 420mm x 210mm x 320mm the ULTRA units are easily transported to events and will tolerate the harshest conditions, be it sun, wind or rain.
Our ULTRAMATS have been specially designed to be the perfect timing mat. We have incorporated our custom designed antenna within an anti fatigue, non slip rubber mat, that is not only soft to run over but a very low profile that does not affect fast finishing road cyclists. With a jig-saw style joining system the mats are easily deployed in a matter of minutes for timing points of up to 8 m.
Once the mats are set in place it is simply a matter of connecting the cables to the ULTRA, turning it on and starting the unit.
Pack-up is just as simple, just power down, disconnect the leads and remove the mats.
Our side antenna system is also an easy setup. The antenna are mounted on stands each side of the finish line, with a cable cover shrouding the cable on the track. The two leads are connected to the ULTRA as you would a mat and the unit is set to read.
